Assignment 3- Malaysia Culture

My group High Five choose the food for the assignment 3 Malaysia Culture. Here is my group blog http://highfive-perak.blogspot.com . The specific area that we focus is Perak, Ipoh. Ipoh is known, the country over for good food. Ipoh has numerous signature of food. One of the signature food that i am taking is Ipoh 'Hor Fun'.

Here is my some idea or suggestion to do the research about Ipoh'Hor Fun'. 

• find the picture of Ipoh 'Hor Fun'
• type of Ipoh 'Hor Fun' available
• Ipoh 'Hor Fun' recepi
• restaurant famous with Ipoh 'Hor Fun'
• use the Photoshop,Dreamweaver and Flash to correct or edit the picture and make the website more interesting and perfect. 

Advance Layering

Step 1: Drag the bubbles picture put into the E wall paper and rename as Bubbles.

Step 2: Drag the Bubbles layer in front of Faculty of Management Open Day layer. 

Step 3: Right click the Bubbles layer and select create clipping mask.

Step 4: The Bubbles layer and FOM Open Day are merged together. Adjust the Brightness and Contrast to see the FOM Open Day clearly.

Step 5: Finally E wallpaper done.

Change the word style

Step 1: Click Horizontal Type Tool and select Window>Character to choose type of word,size and color.

Step 2: Write Faculty of Management Open Day in the middle of e wallpaper.

Step 3: Select Layer>Layer Style>Drop Shadow. Adjust Structure and Quality.

Step 4: Same as step 1 write March 21st,2012 under the FOM Open Day and select Layer>Layer Style>Inner Shadow.

Step 5: Adjust the Structure and Quality.

Step 6: Same as Step 1 write www.mmu.edu.my under the March 21st,2012.

Step 7: Select the e bee layer and select Layer>Layer Style>Bevel and Emboss.

Step 8: Adjust the Structure and Shading.

Step 9: In the e bee layer, select the Filter>Filter Gallery and choose the style that feel suitable.

Step 10: In the Student layer, select Layer>Layer Style>Outer Glow.

Step 11: Adjust the Structure, Elements and Quality.

Step 12: Here is final result.

Retouching and Enhancing

Step 1: Choose the background layer image>adjustment>shadows/highlights and fill the amount of shadows and hightlights to adjust the darkness and brightness of the background.

Step 2: After adjust the shadow and highlight the background look good and more better.

Step 3: Choose the background layer click image>adjustments>color balance.

Step 4: Adjust the color level until satisfied  the color balance. 

Step 5: Hide the student layer. There is a small house below the background. Use clone stamp stool>brush 65>mode normal>Flow100%>select aligned.

Step 6: Press Alt and click the cloud to clone,then stamp on the house.

Step 7: The house is missing after use the clone stamp tool. 

Step 8: Use Sponge tool>brush 150>mode saturate>flow 40% drag sponge the picture of book, library,exam and students. 

Step 9: The picture become more clear and saturated.

E-wallpaper Layering

Step 1: cut the MMU logo, bee and students picture into new A4 paper and arrange edit the picture.

Step 2: Cut the book picture and arrange edit the picture. Choose layer>layer style>scale. Select the size 5> inside position> white color. Rotate the picture 10degree.

 

Step 3: cut the library and examination picture same as step2.

Step 4: Cut the part of wanted background picture and drag into new A4 paper.

Step 5: drag the layer of background picture under the layer of MMU logo and enlarge the side of background same as A4 side.

Step 6: Select horizontal type tool>type of word>color.

Step 7: Finish and complete.

E-Wallpaper 1

This are the raw material that i will use in E-wallpaper assignment.

Step 1: Select file new and choose international paper size A4. Drag the E bee picture inside.

Step 2: Choose Quick Selection Tool and adjust the brushes in the top. Click the E bee until all the E bee is selected and select Move Tool drag the E bee into A4 paper.

Step 3: Click Edit, Transform and Scale to edit the side of the E bee.

Step 4: The E bee become large.
